Explore Brigantine’s Beaches

Brigantine offers several unique beach experiences.

For a quiet atmosphere, head to the south end beaches along the beach path just a few steps beyond our front door.

Further down the south end of the island is the 4×4 drive on beach (an annual pass is required).  No pass?  No worries.  Turn left past the drive on beach Cove entrance and head down to Pepper Cove Lane on the right. You can park your car and walk right on to the Cove beach.  This is also an excellent spot for sunset photos and a great swimming beach for kids with it’s calm, shallow water.

The north end beaches are a bit more crowded but also more narrow. Head to the northern most point to the Bird Watching Tower for glimpses of Long Beach Island, Atlantic City and the wide stretch of Brigantine Island. The north end beach is also home to the new beach bar, LaSacala (formerly Laguna).

Looking to surf? Jetty Beach has the best surf! If you don’t have a drive on pass, you can walk onto the beach at Sandy Lane. It’s a bit of a walk, but the surf is worth it!
